The Agility HealthCard is a Visa Electron Debit Card, issued by Mercantile Bank Limited and can be used to purchase goods and services at any medical service provider who avails of a Point of Sale Terminal facility, i.e. (Credit Card Machine).
Fees
- There’s an annual R 50 administration fee charged to the principle member’s account on the card issue date. A R 50 once off card fee is charged to secondary cards and replacement cards.
- The standard transaction fee and VAT is only charged when the card is used, regardless of transaction amount. There is no additional fee when using a debit card at point of sale.
- Market related bank rate interest is compounded annually and paid monthly on credit balances accumulated in the Agility HealthCard account.
- Compared to other standard savings accounts and credit cards, Agility HealthCard is the most affordable method of saving funds specifically for medical related expenses when the need arises.
